This might not fall under "Nice combination" but it is an attention getter.
I have planted in one of the beds in front of the house 25 ASTILBE 'vision'
which grow around 15" tall and have nice large bright rose-purple flower
spikes, and right next to them I have planted 25 'Stella De Ore" Daylilies
which most already know has bright gold flowers-well they bloom at their peek
at the same time and have the same flower height. The Daylilies had at least
a hundred flowers open each day while the ASTILBE had 3-5 spikes per plant-it
was a show to say the least.
