Re: Books --English

Dear All,
In my experience, the ideas in the gardening books give me loads of
inspiration, even if I have to adapt them, and I live in England. It is
interesting to hear how many of you feel that gardening over here is easier.
But I suppose that the grass is always greener........
I have a serious problem with collecting gardening books, especially the
lavishly illustrated ones and I steal an idea here and there. Is it possible
to have too many books?
And as for undergardeners, mine regularly complains that I treat him
terribly, poor pay etc. What does he think I married him for!
Joking aside, listening to the range of plants that you take for granted in
the US makes me quite green at times and at the moment I'm trying to find
copies of the some of the books you rave about.
On a completely different tack, I've just treated myself to some really
tasty new Hemerocallis, 'Stoke Poges', 'Blushing Belle', 'Burning Daylight'
and 'Golden Chimes'. So I'm off for a little planting spree. Now where has
that undergardener gone?

Happy gardening

Tracy Wilson. Cornwall.
