Re: Gardening Partners

Gene,
It was lovely that my silly comment provoked such a charming response.
Whilst my husband could just about recognise grass when we got married, it
has become a joint love in our lives. After 17 years he's pretty good now.
As I've been ill for the past year(only now fully recovered) he has had to
do the lot in a new 2 acre garden and has been a real brick.
I've always said that gardeners are the nicest people, wherever you meet
them, and this list has done nothing to change my opinion.
By the by, we are in the midst of a really windy spell here and it is
knocking my taller perennials for six, especially Rudbeckia 'Herbstonne' and
Campanula 'Loddon Anna'. I am rapidly running out of linkstakes!
Ho! Hum! Never a dull moment.

Tracy Wilson. Cornwall.
