Gene-
It is heart warming to hear of you speak of JoAn - women seem to easily find
the time and words to speak fondly of their partners to others (or not) and
it is so nice to read the words you have written about your partner. You
have made me smile.
My husband doesn't actually garden - but he designed and built my greenhouse
and will install a raised bed whereever I want it. He enjoys the physical
labor of gardening and appreciates the results of my task. He has always
been supportive of my gardening needs and always surprises me with a new
gadgit (sp) every now and again. Last Christmas he bought me a mini pair of
felcos - (because I never leave home w/o pruners, baggies and a
shovel)....and sometimes for no reason at all, instead of a bouquet of
flowers he'll bring me home a new watering wand. :o)
