Ick . . .help!
Went out to admire my garden this evening and found my pink asclepias
tuberosa covered with 1/2 inch long, orange and black beetles!! They
have a diamond shaped black spot on each end and a black stripe
cross-wise on the middle of their back. There are hundreds of them (and
where did they come from - they weren't there 3 hours ago!!) and they
seem to be doing the beetle dance of love . . .umm . . back to back so
to speak . . . . .
What are they, where on the net can I see pictures to verify them, and
whatever do I do?
Thanks in advance
