yellow aconitum/ now Red Lobelia

Hello Al,
Been a while since I looked into this one. I wanted some red lobelias
besides the local species for my catalog and when I looked into them a few
years back they were either borderline or not hardy in this area for me due
to the parentage. They had been crossed with some more tender, but also more
showy, species and hybrids. One man was doing most of the breeding at that
time. Perhaps things have changed since then.
I have not grown them personally, so would anyone else with experience
in their gardens with this one care to speak up?
