Hello Marilyn,
Thanks. That is now 4 for part shade, especially on the gold foliage.
I was afraid of the same thing on placing Eupatorum Chocolate with the
Gold foliage Caryopteris. I had, however thought of placing the Eupatorum in
the background. In the same area is my limestone sculpture along with black
foliage Asters, Sedums with wine and dusty purple stems and blooms and a
Eupatorum that turns bronze-red in the fall. I adjoining area are golden
rods and other asters.... among other things.
Will have to set things out in their pots and try to imagine maturity.
Too hot to actually plant anything now in any case.
