Susan, Bill, Kay and all other hose sufferers out there - hoses are
absolutely my pet peeve, even higher on the P&M scale than the folks who
feel free to pick whatever is blooming in my rockery as they amble up the
sidewalk. Everytime I get out to the nursery with my 100 ft. hose, it gets
kinked somewhere way back there and I have to keep walking back and forth to
undo the kinks as I try to continue watering the stock (at least once daily
in warm weather, twice daily in hot weather). I would pay highway robbery
for a kink-proof hose. I have a very old (50ft.) hose I use in the front
yard that never kinks, but I have no idea what brand it might be.
Marilyn (who is also wishing she had her very own spigot out there in the
nursery!)

HEY! I was thinking the same this weekend. I use watering wands on the
ends of my hoses and because of their weight, the ends of my hoses
invariably get permanently "kinked" and I have to cut the ends off and start
again. Can anyone recommend garden hoses that are sturdier than this? I
think I've typically bought the mid-grade hoses at my local big box (Fred
Meyer in my case) store.
