Corrections are always helpful- I did follow up with a more current name.
The plants were in Linaria and was called Linaria cymbalaria, were it can be 
found in older works and in Europe.  The plants were split off from Linaria 
and given their own genus called Cymbalaria.  As much as I can tell there are 
10 to 15 species and a few subspecies, but the above plant is the only one 
commonly grown.
