Having been away for a few days, one of which was spent at the
RHS/Gardeners' World Exhibition, (where am I going to put the new plants I
bought?), it was lovely to walk around our garden today, noting all the
plants that are in bloom. Nothing unusual, nothing like the beautiful
plants and nothing like the exhibition gardens we saw at Birmingham, but
enough to give us pleasure.
Digitalis: purple, white and apricot
Digitalis lutea
Phlox divaricata 'Blue Dreams'
Alliums: pink, white, purple and yellow
Astrantia major
Papaver: yellow, orange, red, plum
Aquilegia: claret, pink; white; blue; purple - and more
Iris siberica: blue, yellow
Iris germanica: claret, blue, yellow
Iris pseudacorus
Primula beesiana; P. bulleyana; P. kewensis
Cistus: pink
Hardy geraniums: blue, pink, white
Anchusa
Saxifrage
Potentilla: red, yellow, orange
Ceanothus
Salvia turkesanica
Kniphofia: yellow
Lavender
Asphodeline
Lychnis: white

Clematis 'Nelly Moser' and a purple one
