Me, too. I had only seen this vine mentioned in books, had never seen
one "live," before acquiring one last year. In the grey, lifeless days
of January and February it was truly a joy to look out and see the
evergreen Akebia leaves covering the shade arbor. Along with the
honeysuckle, it was very comforting to see green at that time of year.
