Weiss Brothers' catalogue references Agastache barberi x mexicana
'Tutti-Frutti' as being hardy to 0 degrees (F). If that's so then it
probably wouldn't be hardy in the ground in Zone 4 but would do OK in
Claire's cold frame. Sounds worth the trouble!

PS -- earlier when I referred to Iceland poppies I meant to say alpine
poppies (Papaver alpinum). My two original plants are near each other on
the rock wall and I confuse their names all the time. Alpine poppies are
short and constant-blooming.
