What does the Chocolate beauty prefer?

For best growth and color-they do best in sun with intermitted shade thru out
the day.
They like a moisture retentive soil but are very drought tolerant when
established, Like most native plants, they are more susceptible to insects
feeding on them, but are generally not difficult to grow in many diffrent
types of locations.

I like mine very much, I use it as a back ground planting.
