Re: Japanese maple


Sue,

I think this maple is only marginally hardy in zone 5, because some branches
die back every winter. Still, what is left is quite beautiful. It has been
sitting on an east facing slope with morning sun and afternoon mottled
shade, which should be quite ideal. I am moving and want to take it with me.
