Gail, Marge, and Val,
Thank you for your recommendations on "growing on." To save space, I
sow a bunch of seeds in one pot, so there's no way around ransplanting,
even with peat pots.
I'm going to sow some perennials in July and will transplant them
much earlier, on the theory/hope that at stage there is less to go
wrong.
