Re: Are there purple daylilies?

    I recently bought a "named" daylily from a bulb wholesaler who sells end
of season leftovers in our town.  The name on it was "Grape Velvet" and it
appears to be purple to me, with a modest yellow throat.  I don't know if it
meets others' definitions of purple, but I find it very pleasing.
