Well, folks, it's over and we survived it! My daughter's wedding was
Saturday in our garden. We were too preoccupied to get any pictures during
the wedding with our new digital camera (which we bought for the event!)
Hopefully some of the folks who had a little more time to take pictures
while I was running around will give me copies, and I can post a few of the
actual event. I have posted a few pictures of how the garden looked, at:

The bride started in the lower part of the garden (with the rock wall) and
walked up the steps, along the garden path, and through the arbor (which was
decorated with a blue bow and streamers, unfortunately removed before I got
the pictures taken). They stood in front of the arbor, and the guests were
seated in an open area in front of it.
All in all, it went well (except for the 3 year old who thought it would be
fun to squirt the groom with a hose before the ceremony). Of course, the
flowers will probably be better in another week or so, since several things
hadn't bloomed yet.
My advice for anyone contemplating this: if you are desirous of flowers in
specific colors, buy lots of annuals in bloom to fill in. (so you can see
what color you are getting) Several of the plants grown from seed
specifically for the wedding were not the colors anticipated, and the annual
vine planted to fill in the arbor has not yet bloomed. Some of the
perennials bloomed earlier or later than I had hoped.
Thanks to everyone for all your help and advice!
