Re: OT: wedding

Nancy your garden looked beautiful - I think any of us who choose to
have Weddings in our gardens deserve an award.  I think it was one of
the most strenuous things I have ever taken on.
We are having an early bloom time here in Z8-Portland OR and I bet that
the Casablanca lilies that 	DIDNT bloom for the wedding last year will
be in beautiful bloom at the right time this year.
I have been asked by a neighbor if we would be willing to host her
daughters wedding in our garden next summer and replied "Only if I get
regular help with the weeding and planting".
They are having the reception at their house but their yard is pure lawn
with an occasional bush.  No flowers at al,l as they say they have no
time to tend them; and can see my yard across the street.  Occasionally
Cindy will come over and ask what a particular plant in bloom is, but
they think they have the best of worlds, look out the window to a
beautiful garden and none of the work!
