Re: Revisiting vinegar for weed control

Good question Don..I have spent considerable time locating this..Although I
live in an ag area none was to be found in Farm/Feed stores.Did find some
in a chemical supply biz.for a (minimum)55 gal drum $370. some odd
dollars; out of my league.
Also referred to as Glacial aeceidic <sp?>acid.Very concentrated and can be
dangerous to a mild degree ,wouldnt want to get it on ypur skin, eyes.
Photo supplies stores have switched to a more modern product which I cant
confirm but fear has metals mixed into it to unwilling to go that route..

There is several on line sources but the shipping and handling is 13.50
,for one gal.to my location(apparently in gal.jugs/being highly acid
couldnt ship in all but the most resistant plastic.)Supposedly will kill
weeds BUT redenders soil highly acidic and must be limed to bring back the
now dormant microbial life.Otherwise said to remain effective/acidic for
one year..I want to try but it is very spendy considering the over all
costs.Plus my area is very high ph so maybe would encourage some other
weeds.?
p.s.hows the Datisca coming?
