Re: Propagation of Cotinus (Smoke Tree)


Don, According to Dirr, Cotinus are best propagated as cuttings taken from
now to the end of Julyl  They should be treated with IBA quick dip, peat
and perlite, with mist, and over wintered in flats or beds.  They should
not be disturbed until growth begins in the spring.
