Question about plants

I've been getting into some of the smaller alpine plants lately, but I
have some questions about a few that I'm not familiar with. Can
anyone help?
Armeria juniperifolia:
The label listed it as being hardy to zone 2, but some Web sites
list it as being hardy to zone 8. Being in 5b myself, I hope that
it's the former. Anyone know for sure?
Othonna capensis 'Little Pickles':
It's unclear to me if that's a cultivar name or the common name
of the plant -- I've seen both in my research. Originally I had
this planted in a sunny, dry, well-drained spot, but it melted
away pretty quickly. I've just picked up another and plan on
putting it into semi-shaded, irrigated spot with very good
drainage. Does that sound better for this guy?
Anacyclus depressus:
Here's another one that I planted in a sunny, well-drained, dry
spot, but it seems to be wsting away to nothing. It was planted
nexts to the Othonna, so maybe it heard Little Pickles' death
rattle and lost the will to live?
As far as I can tell, this is supposed to be a perfect spot for
it. Any ideas?
Thanks for any tips!
Chris
