Hi Bill and every one else,
The tour is the annual New England Daylily Society garden tour. No
conventions or regional meetings - just the "membership" putting lots
of miles on the car driving here, there and everywhere. Luckily,
four of us are with in a 5 mile or so circle, so everyone who
ventures northward gets four very different gardens; 1 serious
hybridizer, one serious collector, one elegant sales garden and a row
walk (which some people love) in one shot. Those with a taste for
more can drive about an hour west to AHS Display Garden. We'll see
how tired I am; I suspect I'll sit tight after the crowd as gone and
spike my lemonade (or have a supply laid in for G&T's).
