Wow! I just bought one from a very reputable nursery here. I wonder if our
climate controls this beast?

The irony is that I'm currently battling the same pest. I'd love to spray
ol' Euphorbia beelzebubius with something that embraces a
scorched-earth-policy, so to speak, but it's managed to entangle itself in
my favorite Gentian ('Blue Herold') and my beloved patch of Campanula
'Chettle Charm'. I'm going to get creative with black plastic ("It's
performance art!" or "Remember when Cristo wrapped the Reichstag? Same
thing!" are my options for explaining the inevitable eyesore) and try and
"contain" the area until I get the nerve to dig up the entire mess and
carefully sort the Good from the E-viiiil.
