Re: Perennials

Well, different email programs likely display mail differently, but
mine has columns for 'from', 'subject' and 'to' as well as date; I
can sort on any of them. The 'to' column says whatever email list
you are receiving mail from, so it's easy to see whether what you're
getting is SPAM or legit.

Maybe your program has an option to display this data?

True, if you have a program that sorts mail into different folders,
having the list name or a nick name for it in the subject line makes
that sorting easier, but it also extends the subject line sometimes
so you can't see all of the line unless you open the mail. Six of
one and half dozen of another in my book....I really don't care and
if the list wants Perennials or Per or Perin or any version of the
name in the subject line; fine by me. Chris can do, as he said, but
previous discussions on same have given the idea a negative (can't
remember why, now.).
