Perennial ! ! ! ! !

Fellow Gardeners
I do believe summer is here in NE Mississippi. I'm not complaining. It took it long enough.
We are having some 90* temps here, starting just the last couple of days.
Some strange things have been happening with my perennials this year, compliments of so much rain and cool temps.
Everything has done so well and looks so healthy and green, and has grown so much, but then again everything has bloomed early. my daylilies are almost finished, where normally they would start blooming in June and go through July.
One of my new plants this year has been the "Limerock Ruby" Coreopsis, and to say I have been surprised, is to put it mildly. I was so pleased with this plant I've decided that next year I want more. I do hope it survives the winter. The color is undescribable
Oh ! Marge, remember that Hollyhawk I told you about ??? Well, it's still alive and about 5' tall and has several blooms. the color turned out to be a deep burgundy.
Would like to put out a cry for "HELP"
My son and his family moved to Ft. Worth, TX. a little over a year ago when they retired from the Military, and are buying a house, should be moving in within the month of July. Now, I know it's a little late in the season to think about planting, but I sure could use any and all advice from anyone in the Ft. Worth area and everyone on this list should have advice you can pass along..
I haven't been to visit yet. They have been living in an apartment, so we have delayed a visit. I understand trees are few there. let me know what kind of trees do well there. I have checked my zone map and it is located in zone 7, I believe, therefore can I assume, anything that grows in my area (zone 7) will grow there? waiting for everyone oponion on this subject. all oponion will be appreciated
Donna in NE Mississippi zone 7
