ok. So my idea wouldn't work. owell.

However, if I may build on an idea you suggested to a Pine user, there is a
program for Windows (and a few other platforms, as well), that is
marvelous at identifying spam in my email. Not only is it running at over
99% efficiently identified emails, one of the options allows the user to add
tags to the subject line, that can be easily used to visually identify emails.
So even if you decide NOT to add anything to what the majordomo sends
out, there are ways to get an identifying tag that the user can control.
I've been happily using PopFile for over 6 months now, and it really has
made spam management a breeze compared to anything else I've used.
It is freeware, and is cross-platform. It can be found at:
	http://popfile.sourceforge.net/

And if you should decide to add something at the majordomo level, my
vote would be for something short. [P], as opposed to [Perennials]

Respectfully,
Ruth
