RE: Is it Veronica spicata?

Hi Sophie, I wish some of my verbascum would seed around more. So I think it depends on if you feel it is weedy or if in your area it is a noxioius weed. I know where I am there is one verbascum species that is becoming naturalized although I don't think it is considered a noxious weed.

Some of my verbascum do live past the second year when I cut their flowering stems down before they go to seed. Deb

Thank you Marge and Debra - this is definitely Verbascum blattaria. I did
not think of it since I never ordered the seeds of any verbascum. The plants
are nice but I am rather glad that they are biennial. Do I need to be very
vigilant about it seeding itself? Sophie
