Thanks Nan,
I cannot grow any of the suggested as perennials.
Rosemary merely exists in a pot over the winter.
Is there anyone out there in a comparable zone?
NewYork, Ithica perhaps?
Just looking for ideas that might look good from the
road.
>>>>snip>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Have recently completed a stone wall across the front of our house.
It is 5 1/2' high x 26' wide (or more) and is 8' deep at one end and 5' deep
at the other.
The area has a filtered E. x SE. exposure .
Had originally considered hostas, brunneras(silver leaf ), Dicentra
spectabilis
alba, Mertensia virginica and various campanulas to hang over the edge.
Upon reflection it occurred to me that the only way to view this garden was
from the living room window. Hmmph.
I am looking for a plan B if there are any ideas out there, I would
appreciate the in-put.
Thank you.
Siberian iris (pale blue-no name), just opened yesterday in our heat of 32
c.
