Easy to contain and keep small until you start to pull or dig it. In the one
location were I had a problem with this plant I had to remove all the soil
down to about 15 inches and replace with new soil, some small plants still popped
up from roots left behind and those were sprayed with "Roundup' no more
problem.
I wish I had more plants now (maybe I can find time this summer or fall to
make a new bed and move in some root cuttings) -- the woodchucks love them and
did most of them in a few years back. The woodchucks can't get enough of this
plant species, they would mow every green leaf to the ground every other day.
