I checked out the labels on the Carexes on the hillside and found that Carex plantaphylla is probably the bluest of the sedges with the widest leaves. Little Bunny is blue but seems to have narrow leaves. The flaccospera is just green. I have a really wide leaf green one with out an id that is weedy but beautiful from now on until spring. If they grow in acid soil without extra water they all are a keeper for me.
Nancy Robinson Tennessee zone 6b I did find some Carex last fall
