Re: Plants which can cause skin irritation

I had an odd reaction to weiglia sap - every spot it touched me welted up and hurt badly for a several hours.

Have never had a problem with Rue, though I do respect Euphorbia simply because I was told to when I got it. I get more grief from the-sized mosquitoes.

Nancy...I've had similar experiences with Hyacinth bulbs...and Euphorbia is
certainly one which can cause a reaction similar to poison ivy when the sap
contacts skin...and Rue, as well.

Are there other plants where it would be wise to wear gloves when handling?
