That's a new one to me...glad to know to take care around Weigela.
Speaking of Weigela, has anyone tried W. 'Polka'? It's terrific....dark pink
buds, light and dark pink flowers and it really does like to bloom all
summer, albeit with far fewer flowers after the spring rush, but a welcome
and useful shrub (off topic, I know). Pretty with Sedum albomarginata roseum
or Hemerocallis 'Golden Zebra'. Also pretty with other darkish pink roses.
