I'm trying to prepare a new bed but it was just too hot so I took a break and went to Menards to pick up a few odds and ends. It is 92 degrees right now. On the way back I decided to finally stop in at this little roadside vegetable shop that now also has plants. The annuals were priced but not the perennials or shrubs. I finally found a guy there and he said a 1 gallon of anything was $5; a 2 gal, $10, etc. Not that I needed it, but I got a Wisteria Amethyst Falls in full flower, bursting out of it's pot for $10. I couldn't help myself. Now I have to figure out where to put it.
Hopefully it will cool down a bit so I can work on that bed again in the cooler evening hours. I'd like to get it done b4 a possible night-time rain tonight.
