Hi, Chris...I've been wondering if anything was going on about this. Interesting info about chasing down hijacked images. Maybe the fella who used your photo didn't heist it from you but perhaps did so elsewhere and from there attached his copyright. Have you been able to contact him?

I've taken a chance on zones and put in some Crocosmia 'Walcroy'...has anyone tried Monbretia in or near zone 5a? If so, any tips on growing it?

Also, some Campanula poscharskyana 'Camgood' which I'm lead to believe will become a 4 foot wide 8" tall mat in 3 or so years, blooming from May through August...does anyone have experience (and guidance) with this campanula?

Thanks in advance for any help with these plants.

As a follow-up, I just sent the DMCA takedown notice, so we'll
see what happens!

What's more interesting to me is that Google allows you to search
for image theft as well.  I searched at

   http://images.google.com/

for

   http://www.hort.net/profile/ros/rosru/main.jpg

and it came up with two pages of stolen images.  Tineye (the
commercial service) came up with one single stolen image.

*NOTE:  You have to click on the camera icon before pasting the
URL for the photo.

The other sites are all in foreign countries, so copyright
enforcement becomes a lot more difficult.

What's even more interesting to me is that some of those
other sites are using the stolen copy that davesgarden.com
had.

Anyhow, I thought you'd appreciate an update...

Chris
