Yesterday we stopped by our local nursery while running some errands, and I found a few good deals. They're running a 'no sales tax' promotion this week and Tuesdays are 10% off on everything, plus there were some plants at 50% off on clearance. It was listed as Geranium sanguineum Spiked Punch[TM] on the label, but when I visit the producer's web site they just list it as G. sanguineum: http://www.centertonnursery.com/variety.php?id=gespu I'm thinking that Centerton Nursery got a trademark for a phrase and are just using it to market the straight species. I searched through the USPTO trademark database and couldn't find any record, either. But I'm not sure. More research is needed. :) Anyone else getting some deals?
