Oh!It’s been years since I ordered from Santa Rosa! I should try them again, but make it next year.

Chris, that’s a great haul; I love Astrantias and that Geum Cooky is a cutie!  I only just got the last of my new items in the ground and am holding off buying more.  One of my favorites this year is Verbascum roripifolium from Odyssey.  And I did get some good deals on shrubs from Hirts.

I'm doing my best to wear blinkers when I drive past any store that has plants!

One day we hit Lowes and good plants for 1.00.  Not that price since.  Love that person who marked down all those perennials.    Nancy

Hey Gang
I've been hitting the Lowes hurt plant racks  No huge deals but I'm thinking about going back and seeing if those huge Triple Play phlox are still there

I'm sharing plants with co-workers

Yesterday we stopped by our local nursery while running some errands, and I found a few good deals. They're running a 'no sales tax' promotion this week and Tuesdays are 10% off on everything, plus there were some plants at 50% off on clearance. Here's the haul: 1 Astrantia 'Vanilla Gorilla' gal $7.99 1 Campanula poscharskyana 'Blue Waterfall' gal $5.99 1 Coreopsis 'Balupteamed' (Uptick[TM] Cream) gal $12.59 1 Eryngium zabellii 'Neptune's Gold' gal $5.19 1 Geranium sanguineum qt $2.79 2 Geum coccineum 'Cooky' qt $2.79 1 Ligularia 'Britt Marie Crawford' gal $7.59 1 Lobelia siphilitica gal $3.99 1 Phlox 'Fashionably Early Lavender Ice' gal $7.99 3 Rudbeckia fulgida var. sullivantii 'Goldsturm' qt $3.59 I think I was duped on the Geranium, though. It was listed as Geranium sanguineum Spiked Punch[TM] on the label, but when I visit the producer's web site they just list it as G. sanguineum: http://www.centertonnursery.com/variety.php?id=gespu I'm thinking that Centerton Nursery got a trademark for a phrase and are just using it to market the straight species. I searched through the USPTO trademark database and couldn't find any record, either. But I'm not sure. More research is needed. :) Anyone else getting some deals?
