Has anyone used any of the electronic devices for controlling voles, moles,
gophers,and other burrowing pests?  I think most work by emitting a frequent
sound that is supposed to drive away the pests?

I would be interested in hearing about  individual experience with such
devices.  Do they work?  How large of an area do they protect?  Specific
brand names, battery powered versus AC, etc.
