This is the fault of the sender.  For some reason they may have hit reply
and then tried to cancel, their mailer may have crashed, etc.  The biggest
problem with these kinds of messages is the lack experience on the part of
many subscribers.  Hopefully with a little patience, good references, and
good education this kind of thing will become less and less common.
