Dear Donna:  Thank you so much for the information;

because it costs so much to buy plants, I find it so satisfying that so many
will actually need dividing to do really well;

also, that if a shoot of a plant, like Jacobs ladder, for example, breaks
off with blossoms on it, one just plunks it in water and it will stay alive,
and even put out roots, and voila, one has another plant.
