Last year I devided and replanted
several offshoots of monkshood in
different locations in my (many)
small garden sites.
This year I found out that this
plant - it's seeds, roots and leaves -
are poisonous! Now I'm wondering
if I should dig up the many new
plants that have begun to sprout,
and throw it away. Anyone out there
growing this plant? Do you wear
gloves when tending the soil around
this plant? Will the plant poison
the soil in general? ETC. ETC.?????
No kids to worry about, only
a rambunctious cat.
