The NARGS Bookstore's address is nargsBS@efn.org

By coincidence, I have just received by Email this morning (June 12) the
following description of the NARGS Bookstore garden. I can't resist
putting a personal face on the prosaic phrase "NARGS Bookstore", and am
therefore reprinting a paragraph from this personal letter from Louise
Parson's (of Corvallis, Oregon). "Ernie and Marietta" are the O'Byrnes.
He is the manager of the NARGS Bookstore; she is immediate-past-chair of the
NARGS Emerald Chapter in Eugene, the location of their garden (and the
bookstore):

Yesterday afternoon I spent a few hours at Ernie and Marietta's garden,
taking notes and photos for an article I am working on. It was absolute
heaven! How I wish that you could see their garden, it is an out-of-body
experience <G> ! I do not exaggerate when I say it is one of the finest
anywhere. You and Marcia would go bonkers over their collection of hostas
and companion plants, their lush borders and woodland area. They have a
long ditch garden which they have planted with primulas, iris, and other
moisture-loving plants. Even their vegetable garden is a visual treat and
the culinary treat was the wonderful "home-grown" salad which they served
me on their deck. Pure delight! --Louise Parsons

Aside to Ernie: Ernie, if you receive any requests for a list of
available books, i. e. the one published in each issue of the NARGS'
*Rock Garden Quarterly*, and if you have one you can send out to
prospective members, could you please send a copy to this member (namely me)
also, please? Thanks.
