Hi Sheila:
Depending on the height of your rose, the blooms might look lovely
peeking over/through the silvery foliage (and if the timing's right,
the lavender-blue flower spikes) of Perovskia -- pink/blue/silver is
a soothing combination, IMHO. I always liked the combination of the
purple coneflowers (Echinacea) that grew around the edges of my
Perovskia and bloomed at the same time -- the coppery-orange of the
'cones' really shone through the silvery-blue haze effect that
Perovskia has. Hmmmm...guess I'm going to have to do that combination
again soon, now that I think about it!
