This thread is very interesting.
Heres one from my garden(this combination doesnt happen "over night" for
mass anyway but very dramatic and eye pleasing contrast:Golden Bamboo
and Purple Smoke....
As you can imagine,the concern is size as they are BOTH vigorous and
hardy growers and may well out grow their intended area(bordering on
that now)and do require pruning and such annually to control them.Wish
now I had made them an island focal feature in the lawn area.But oh what
a lovely sight.
