Had a yellow-flowered columbine that was in bloom for
the last week. Bought it at a local garden centre, not an exotic
variety. (I said 'had' because I just replaced it with
another perennial today, actually. I found it a bit blah and
so I replaced it. But it might meet your particular need.)
