Recently, there were discussions of polemonium, and variegated filipendula
ulmaria.
Polemoniums (Jacob's Ladder) are one of my favourites, and I have both white
and purple plants. I have read about the variegated polemonium, but until
today I had never seen one. The specimen I saw was lovely, and carried a
$16.99 price tag. I admired it, and walked on. :-)
The I got to thinking....my friends would like this plant as much as I do,
and given that these plants self sow prolifically, perhaps I could view it
as an investment. ;-) again
My question is: if this plant self sows, what are the chances that it will
produce variegated plants?
