Delphinium poisonous?

I was wandering through the perennials house at my favorite nursery this
weekend looking for something to plant along with my roses.  A powder
blue delphinium really caught my eye so I bought it without really
checking it out.  Last night I looked it up in a couple of my references
and found a comment about its nectar being poisonous.  Does anyone know
anything about it?
