EMAIL SPAMMING

Well, every list has it at some point, and now we've encountered it.  The
question is what action to take.

I'm referring to the cheeseball incident, of course.  And by this I mean
the sender, Mr. McDuff.  

PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO REPLY TO HIS MESSAGE!  IT WILL ONLY GO TO THE ENTIRE
LIST.

I will send out a list of possible fixes tomorrow night that we can vote 
on.  In the meantime, I have disallowed mail from that address to 
our mailing lists, and have also written a letter to linknet.net and
1stfamily.com presenting an ultimatum -- they must show that appropriate
actions are being taken to prevent this from happening again or their
mail will be forever disallowed to mallorn.com, ncsa.uiuc.edu, and any
other domains that I have administrative control over.

In the meantime, please just ignore Mr. McDuff's message.
