Don't do anything special to your plant. Before you know it, it will
spread all over the place! I had started with one plant two years ago.
Now, I have a patch that is roughly 3' X 3' -- and I pulled every other
plant out this spring to avoid overcrowding. It has sent out underground
runners and I have plants coming up 2 or 3 feet away from the main clump.
I find that I have to stake my plants as they are approaching 4' tall and
the blossoms will weigh the plant down considerably. I don't fertilize
them or give them special treatment, either. You can draw your own
conclusions....
(I'm in Zone 5/6, lots of rain, loads of humidity)
