You're right, my "full sun" is very wet!!!  I have my knautia in full
sun, raised bed, between a rose and a daphne with heather at its feet,
sort of, in heavy clay soil..
and this thing is blooming its head off.  The slugs don't go near it
either.  We've had extremely wet weather this year, and obviously this
little bugger loves it.  Its about 4' tall right now.  Try it again
Marge!!!
