RE: Dividing perennials


Barb,

Thanks for the help.  I'll have to try that.  Is there more than one
kind of balloon flower?  If so, I don't know what kind mine are.

	If your balloon flowers are the ones I have, Japanese type, they
do not like
	to be disturbed due to the large tap root.  Even so, I have
successfully
	moved them from place to place at one time or another.  It is
much easier to
	propagate these, in my humble opinion, from seed easily
collected every year
	in the fall.  I have lots of new plants all over my new beds
raised from
	seed in white, pink or blue.

	Can't help you with the virginia bluebells, but I'm sure
somebody else wil
	be able to help.
